The local team, represented by Mohamed Amer and Salem Hamdiah, conducted meetings on Socotra with the Chairman of the Environment Protection Authority (Socotra Branch) to discuss the project. The meeting took place at the offices of EPA and in the Boswellia nursery set up especially for the project (by Mona Ahmed). The first small Boswellia seedlings grown in the nursery were inspected by the team, and the procedures for the germination trial procedures were explained.
