In Ras Ayre village we used current plantation of dragon´s blood trees established by MENDELU in 2006. The fence was in 2020 behind its lifespan. So, we decided to replace the iron fence by stony wall 100 x 100 m. Stony wall reparation was co-financed from a private donor and Friends of Soqotra small project. The reforestation area was enlarged and among dragon´s blood trees, Boswellia seedlings will be re-planted in 2021. We will use seedlings produced in the nursery because in this fenced area no adult Boswellia trees are found and we cannot expect natural regeneration
