In Shata, 50 x 50 m fenced areas were built for regeneration of Boswellia socotrana subsp. aspleniifolia in December 2020. Inside fenced areas, adult trees able to produce seeds for natural regeneration can be found. Seedlings inside were labelled. Moreover, seedlings from natural regeneration outside the fenced areas were protected by strong individual protection.
